      • The Axis vs Allies Arena
AvA Target for Today
« on: April 20, 2010, 08:57:03 AM »
358th Daybreakers are flying Axis and will be running some missions on the Tuesday Squad Night, Apr 20th 9pm est. The Freespirits and others will be flying Allied.

It will be base against base, A-1 vs A-18. Let's see which side can take the others base while still holding their own.

Everyone will know which bases are targeted. Straight up fights, no sneak attacks!!

TUESDAY APR 20 9pm est.

OPEN TO EVERYONE!!!

We want lot's of walk-ons to help balance out the sides.

 :airplane: This is a good setup for some you SAPP folks.  P38L and Pony D versus Bf110 G2 and Bf109 K4  :cheers:

Add with that the extra challenge of flying with no enemy icons  :banana: 

Just a thought, without icons, the plane skins take on their intended camo.  Any suggestions here for what skins we should be using on those models??  I probably will need to dl them.

That doesn't do anything but improve the textures on the skins...and it won't work if you're not using 1024 textures...which Chilli isn't.

Allies pretty much took the night. We had a good turn out, close to 30 at peak and good numbers most of the night.

A decent mix of furballing and base attacks, that was kind of the goal to have more than just one style of play going on without it turning into an ugly milk run situation.

Congrats and thanks to everyone who played.
