Wednesday night
« on: April 01, 2010, 12:28:39 PM »
I had an enjoyable time Wednesday night. I think most of the VF-17 guys did as well.
<S> to the Daybreakers and others including some of my squadmates for some great fights.
Any of you AVA guys that do not fly FSO might be interested in the events Daddog has started hosting on the non FSO Fridays in the SEA.

If any of you are interested Friday night just show-up and walk on.

Hey Shifty, if you see an A6M5 blow by you in a dive...it's going to be me...I missed my shot and I'm trying not to black out...  :devil

Although I'm hoping to fly the Corsair if the sides are out of whack you'll find me in an A6M5 as well.
That's my second favorite Navy Bird. :D

Shifty, you guys fly AvA alot ? I am thinking about trying that when I re-deploy for good.  Any decent AvA squads out there ?

We've just returned to AVA with an offcial Tuesday night squadnight and a casual Thursday one. We'd love to have you if you're interested. Others you might consider are the 358th Daybreakers, JG-27, I think JG-54 still has some guys flying AVA as well as the Gunfighters. BY THE WAY!! How's the wife and little one?

The AvA is totally separate from the other arenas as far as squad affiliation, you can be in a separate AvA squad.

The 358th would also love to have you, but you can't go wrong with VF-17, especially if you would like the option of flying with the same squad in other arenas, as we only fly AvA.

Tomcat,

Awesome to hear from you man.  Remembering back when the AvA forums were full of posts accusing folks of wanting some sort of "elite" arena, indeed sir seeing one of our finest showing an interest in what we are trying to help keep going, has shined a new light on that statement.

To mirror what Shifty says, a hundred thanks to you and all of those deployed.

 :salute

Thanks Chilli, i wouldnt call myself elite, I am prettymuch a bomb****, however, I just think it might be nice to have a change of pace and to learn more via AvA while doing some historical themed scenarios. Thanks not required, I love what I do. I am just a regular guy making a living. <S>
