Strange flickering graphics

For the last few weeks I have been getting A strange flicker/graphic anomaly on the cockpit dash.
Don't know why, I haven't changed anything.
Anyone know what causes it?

This only happens on the cockpit dash.  There are a lot of them all different shapes and sizes anddifferent positions.  They seem to flicker and then disappear.  Never happens in GV's or in the Tower or when using views around the plane, just cockpit dash????

Running with vertical sync disabled?

Issues like that are normally associated with a card that is overheating.  Although it could also be due to resource issues with the card itself.  A DXDIAG output would be helpful for that.

Vsync is onI don't have a dedicated video card, just the on-board one.  I've been playing the game since Jan last year with no real problems other than keeping things simple with regard graphics.
I will get the DXDIAG output to look at, where do I find it please.  I will post it.

Go to start, and click Run. Type in DXDIAG in the text buffer. Copy and paste video card info.  :salute

Four sounds cards?  That, in of itself, is a problem.

Next, is the Intel video chip combined with a Celeron CPU all running on Vista with only 1GB of system RAM.

You will need to minimize everything in the game.

1)  In the game "Video Settings"
a) Set the resolution to 1024x768.
b) Set the "Maximum Texture Size" to 128.

2)  In "Offline Practice", "Options->Graphic Details"
a) Check all the options that have the word "Disable" in them.
b) Move all the sliders more towards "Performance".
c) Check the "Advanced" option, check "Bump Mapping" only.

That might make it better, but the lack of system RAM is going to make it really difficult to make the game run smoothly.  Overall, that computer really is not geared for running 3D real-time games.

I use it a lot for making music. I guess I'm going to have to get a new one for gaming on.
I tried installing a Nvidia graphics card before but it made a real mess of my MIDI system, so I took it out.
