Another Reason Why It's Best To Report For Jury Duty

What's funny is, all that individual had to do was send in a letter requesting an exemption based on the fact that she was trying to further her education and offered some proof and she would have been off scott free. I did this while i was in my EMT training due to the fact that I was nearing the end of my training and was going to be using the time to study.

2 months ago I decided to show up for jury duty after 20 something years of throwing the notices in the trash.  I went got dismissed withing 1/2 hr.  showed up at work next day and they ask me for the court time stamped paper that says i went, didnt know i needed one.  had to take a vacation day to get paid, go figure .

the last time i got a summons, was at  a time when my sciatica was flaring up rather badly. any of you that've had it will know why i got a doctors note, and got excused.
