Fletch, and well wishers <S>  She has been hospitalized for inpatient care which began on May third. A formal commitment trial is Tuesday.....She has not responded well to traditional drugs as of yet.   Her depression is very significant, and today she started electric brain shock treatment if you can call it that.
 I really appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers

And for what it's worth, ECT (those brain shock treatments) are nothing like what everybody thought they were in the 70s. They are much easier to go through...not the stuff of nightmares. I've had some patients with severe disease that responded to nothing else, who had significant and meaningful improvement with ECT.

Depression can be a devastating disease my old friend.  Remember that she is not herself right now and I will pray the girl you married will show up again!

In the meantime try to keep being the guy she married.
