oh - I'm wrong, actually - those were my DX8 Beta framerates - I'm actually down in the 40 - 50 range now... sorry.

Res and color depth u play AH at with mipmapping on: 1024x768x32 (with the only higher resolution available - 1280 - I get weird looking pictures :))
Framerate average online: not tested
Framerate Offline on the runway facin North at A2(1.08 mindanao) in B17: 42 (engines running, 100lbers loaded)
Drivers: GF2Go 12.90
CPU:PIII 1GHz (running at 700MHz during the test)
RAM:128MB
OS:W2K

Have to ask Straffo, how do you get access to that resolution in Aces?  I can go 1024 or 1280, with nothing in between..

Open the video7.cfg in notepad and Voila ! You can set whatever resolution you want  :)
(like 320*200 <= I tried and it reminded me Aces over Pacific  :D)

Framerate average online: 30 near the groun 40-50 up high

Drivers: the new ones
CPU: AMD tbird 1.3
RAM: 256 ddr
OS: winbloze me


sometimes on ground attacks missions I'll do the SHIFT-F3 to reduce draw range to keep FR high around smoke.  Overall I prefer the higher res to allow easier identification of NME manuvers

Another noteworthy thing is none of the newer generation drivers would work for me until I disabled palletised textures in the AH video settings
