Saw a news clip a little bit ago about the tornado that hit in the Norman area.  I hope everyone in that area is OK.   :salute

I drove in to the rain wrapped tornado that hit the Loves on I-40 at Choctaw. It blew the rear window out of my truck and lifted the bellybutton end up and spun us sideways in the road. I'm trying to decide if this has made my number #1 handsomehunk of all time or not.

It obliterated that Loves.  Your lucky man.  You see what it did to that U-haul business....Took all their moving trucks and threw them into the woods like they were made of paper.  We had all the shingles, trees, windows and both barn doors destroyed east of Moore.  Our oldest horse Star was picked up and slammed against the wall and killed her.  Lot of cleanup.  Nasty day yesterday.

Very nasty. Sorry about your horse Drex, glad you guys are ok. I'm not sure where the U-Haul place was in relation to the Loves. I was stuck on that overpass for a bit because of the powerlines across the road. Whatever that was across from the Sonic looked to be in very bad shape.

Thanks Bat and Nova :aok

Luckily, none of my family in the area were affected.

Prayers out for those who were.

When I was dating a woman in Choctaw, that was the exit I got off of I-40 on to head to her house.  Weird, hearing it was wiped out.  She has since moved to Midwest City and we only talk on the phone now, but it seems like yesterday that I was makin those trips to see her and I always stopped at that Love's.  Small world........... :O
