How do I do this?
« on: May 11, 2010, 01:37:35 PM »
Hi Mates

If this is the wrong forum for this question, I apologise in advance.

Does anyone know which key you hit to make all bomber guns train and shoot at enemy aircraft?

Many thanks.

You don't...while you're in a plane with multiple gun positions you can hit key 2 to put you into the #2 position (which is a gunner) then look at the top left of your screen and you will see all of the available gun positions with the corresponding number keys to hit.

In bombers with drones, when you fire a gun, the drones fire the exact same gun at the exact same time you do.

Just as a heads-up, Aces High has no "otto" -- you have to gun yourself or get a friend. The upside is that every gun on your entire formation shoots where you shoot (if it's within their zone of fire).

Hold down "n" while shooting, all guns will train on the target and fire.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

You also don't have to go to position 2 first (unless your plane only has one gunner then you don't really have a choice, lol).  IE: you can go from the pilot seat (#1) to the rear gunner (#4) by simply hitting 4.

Gunner guns are hard set to a convergence of 500.  Use the rudder controlls while in a gunner position to bank your plane left or right.

Majors: Just to let you know, you can find all the key commands in game by opening the clipboard and navigating to Options>Controls>Map Keys. You can select a category by using the radio buttons on the left, then scroll through the commands.

The command is "Fire all guns." You can map that to your joystick trigger. All guns of all drones will fire at your target if they have a view of the target. The key is the "n" key as phatzo wrote.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, no.

When you jump to any gun, by pressing 2 thru the number of gunner positions on a particular aircraft, the number corresponding to each gunner position will display in the upper right of your screen.

Keyboard N or a joystick button set to Fire Primary and Secondary will fire all guns on the bomber formation that will bear on the target you are aiming at.

As someone else stated, the "streams cross", converge, at 500 yards.

You can also have one person join you to gun for you but they only fire the single gun they are manning.
