game minimising for no reason

Since the update, when I play, the game will suddenly minimise for no apparent reason and the taskbar appears at the top of the screen. 
Is this affecting anyone else?

I don't understand what you mean by the taskbar appearing at the top of the screen.

Not sure what he is meaning by task bar but last night I had the game minimize 3-4 times while in the tower.  I would bring up the map and click on a different base and the game would minimize as if I hit the Window's Logo button on the keyboard.

I had this only once so far. Wanted to close the "no voice" arena message and immediately minimized AH by clicking on the button.

Well, when I was put back at the desktop my taskbar would be at the top of the screen for some odd reason. Its not happening now though

you mean the shortcut taskbar where all of your current open desktop applications are for quick reference and choosing? I know what it is and that it is some type of shortcut but don't know how to bring it up myself.....
