Update Problem

After I log in, I get a white screen and a Microsoft error. Then it shuts down. Reload whole game over?
Also puter had to restart after update, is this normal for this update. Never had to restart puter before. Must be some big changes in update, or I have a bigger problem?
Skuzzy computer has to restart after update? Anytime computer has to restart there is some changes, I like to know its the game and not something else.

Computer doesn't need to restart after the update, something is causing this

The game installer will not cause a computer to need to restart.  There is definitely something else at work here, external of the game.
