Download skin problems

When I try to manually download skins off the website, this is what happens when I try to open the file to save it into the skin folder.  Anyone know why?

Skins are .res files, they don't need to be Installed.  Just download it and stick it in the Skins folder and you're good to go.

That is the problem, when I download it it wont let me.  That is what comes up.

So you:

> Download file, when clicked hit "Save File" (Ex. P51b_2 "Save file" to "My documents")
> Open folder containing the newly downloaded skin (Ex. Open "My documents" if saved there)
> Cut file (Right click and hit 'Cut')
> Paste in C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High\Skins (Right click and hit 'Paste')
> Open game and use skin

> Steps 2-4 can be skipped if saved directly to the Skins folder

At which point do you get the error?  You shouldn't get the error unless you try to open the file or try to save it by hitting "Open with...".

I am using mozilla, so it puts it in the little download window, when i double click it to open it that pops up. I guess I will try doing it with internet explorer.

Ah see when the download finishes don't double click it.  That is trying to open the file.  Right click and hit "open containing folder" and cut the Skin(s) and paste them in the Skins folder (mentioned above).

Ahhhhh Got you.  Thank you very much.  Back before my three year break I didn't use Mozilla, i use IE, so never had to do that.  7 Year total playing and couldn't even figure that out lol.  /facepalm
