Things appear smaller

Sorry for the uninformative Subject Heading but I am not sure what is wrong.  Things (vehicles, airplanes) just appear smaller for some reason.  I've brought the icon font up to 14 but it made little difference. I noticed while changing the font size that the sample size didn't change with the selection.
I downloaded the HiRes pac, but I was using HiRes before without issues. 
Even offline the drone airplanes seem smaller when viewed through the gunsite.

The below is a response from Skuzzy regarding a similar complaint in the Technical forum.  Try it.   :salute

Try resizing the opening screen to full screen (or as large as it will go).

Also, I'm getting a weird scan of my task bar in the lower right hand corner of the game for the first time.  Hmmmmmmmmmm

I was able to increase the size of the fonts in the game by going to the offline area and increasing them there. For some reason doing that increased them when I went back to the online arenas.
Airplanes and vehicles still appear smaller though and I noticed that when I click on the game Icon on the desktop, the Windows task bar and the upper (whatever you call it) bar on top stays on the screen until I get signed on.
The fix mentioned (increase the size of the game screen) won't work because I am unable to see the buttons under the upper Windows bar.

2.19.2 apparently got rid of the windowed mode start up, so you may want to check again. I would assume (from my joystick issues and Coach's taskbar thing) that the game wasn't fully swapping to true fullscreen after login.

even with the new patch theres some resolution issues.........  everything still looks much smaller even when I change the video settings to a much lower resolution.......... tried 800x600 and tanks that are 1K away still appear the size they should be at 4K or more...... makes it real hard to range in a tank

sitting in tower at a vbase looking down at spawn hanger in F3 external view....... tank rolls out...... I have to zoom in just to tell what kind of tank it is

Since news terrain textures all things appears to small or distances perceptions work strangely for me as
i pointed out many weeks before. If i SLOWLY split s to bomb a gv 2k down, then i found it 1k down me in a fraction of second. And the damned things are able to get a plane far 1.5k!

Noticed in the windows version On the log in screen it usually tells you on top left corner what your resolution is. Well it's 1187x766 for some reason even though my game was setup for 1680x1060. Running hires pack also. Could that be why things were smaller? Now since the new patch not windows startup game is back to normal for me.
