H2H through a firewall?

I connect via a DSL modem plugged into the uplink port of my lan. (3 machines, great connect for all 3 of em) No real problems connecting (I lose udp & switch to tcp, but doesn't seem to effect gameplay at all)

My problem is that while I can host a H2H session, most people can't seem to join.

What do I need to do to make this possible?

Ohh & while I'm at it does anyone have advice on setting up firewall or proxys?

Not much you can do here.  From what you have stated, you don't have access to the firewall, it's your provider's firewall right?  You would have to get them to open up the ports AH uses for connecting.

Generally, hosting games is not possible through Network Address Translation schemes, which suspect is the problem.  From the Start menu choose Run, then type "winipcfg" (without the quotes).  This will tell you your IP address.  I'm betting it starts with 10., and if that's the case, you are using NAT to get to the internet and hosting a game is just not gonna work.

One of the reasons I went cable is that I got a real IP so I could host.
