What CPU you plan to use on it? and what RAM?

if you are going Athlon/DDR, I suggest the KG7; thought the KR7 is coming and it will be much better, pricier I imagine.

Try to get a board with the Via kt266a (the A is VERY important) chipset.  They should be filtering onto the market now.

I am definately going with the Via 266a chipset. Epox ($117), Shuttle ($96), and MSI have boards out now that support it...and more will be out soon.

ecs makes one and it is only like 60$ www.ecsusa.com
