Here's the thing.... If you're getting steamrolled on a 2-sided map you're cooked. No options.
If you're getting slammed on a 3-sided map, you always have the option of attacking the weaker front line facing your side.
2-sided map = bad, no options, people give up hope losing a battle
3-sided map = much better, more options, people retain hope of finding a good fight.
Now, in your example both sides were hitting you. I can tell you that's totally subjective. More times than not when I logged into the LWA Knits were the whipping boy, and I've commented about the unofficial truce rook/bish have on ch.200 too many times to count.
So in short: It happens. It's not always you. You're sick of it? Try LW Orange. Or if already there try LW Blue. Mid war. Early war. Okay, that was a joke, but try mid war.
That said, I dislike being gang banged like that as well, but SOME times (repeat SOME times) it makes for the best fights ever. One time Bish and Rook pushed Knits back to their last 3 airfields (before the current reset rules) and I upped a C202, shot down 12 planes in giant furballs spanning 2 separate sectors, and landed safely.
Doubt I could pull that off again, now that the situation will never come up again. The point is sometimes "target rich enviroments" can be a blast.
