New/Old Saitek 36X combo

Here's a link for the Saitek X45 from the Saitek UK website.  It's priced at £99 (as was the X36) but I managed to get the X36 at £65 through an alternative online catalogue.

 http://www.dxmarket.com/saitek/products/PS1Uplus.html

It mentions illuminated switches, I hope they've literally got lights actually beneath the switches.  Also whereas the X36 had a flip switch that you had to lower to fire the 'Launch missile' button, the X45 is the other way around where you have to raise the 'safe' cover to fire the 'launch' beneath it.

Regards

Yikes - white rotaries  :( Why did the bastards have to stick all this colour crap on the combo anyway? How can I convince my other half that it's the very same stick??? :D
