lol, having trouble switching tanks....
« on: May 28, 2010, 01:45:17 PM »
I have my head possition in all tanks but the M4's (firefly included) pushed all the way forward, as I've found it helps in long range shooting, when looking at a nearby icon can only get you within 1000yds of your target. Problem is that I'm having trouble adjusting when I swap from say, the M4A3(75) to the T-34/67.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I do the same resukting in the same problem.

The reason is the gunsight. The range marks are set for default head position. When you move your head forward , they do not match any more.

I'm well aware of that lusche. Upped a tiger and kept shooting long by about 1000yds. Was really quite annoying  :cry.

And have you noticed that the M4's gunsight isn't accurate at range? It seems dead on close up (say out to 1200yds or so), but last week when I tried to zero in on my buddy who was right where the rooks had to go though to get at the base (IDK how to explain it. Imagine two hills running together to form a "V", with a valley on either side). His icon said 2.2k, so I put the 22 mark right on him, and my shell fell maybe 500yds short.

Best I can figure, 3200yds on the sight is actually around 2900yds. Anyone else notice this, or am I jumping at shadows?
