I'm sorry but the deletion of Lute and Killnu gnaws at me.   I'd list my Top 10, but some mentioned would get their noses bent.

I don't think anyone was snubbed as much as it was thrown together on short notice. I certainly appreciated the invite but I'm not even top 5 in my own squad.

we had 2 weeks notice.  I hear what everyone is saying about the lineups but unfortunately R/L gets in the way of things.

I didn't field the team I wanted to but I think all of us that flew, apart from Greebo, have participated in several SDL matches whereas the US team have not.  As snap said it is far more about quick gunnery and SA than raw flying ability.  The teamwork aspect is also very important.

You could field the best 10 indivadual pilots and they may not work well together...  Thats what makes these fights very interesting because anything can happen.

To Bruv119's point above,

Their team just had better ideas and tactics that got them the results they deserve.  They won hands down.

We can talk about dream-teams, but it is as useless as male nipples imho.

I am happy with the team we put together because the 10 guys that were there (11 if I did not make the mistake on DrBone  :uhoh), were guys that made a commitment to be there.  I have respect for guys who made it to the event as they promised and made this event possible.  The guys that said they be there and did not, things happen and I am not mad about it. Things just happen.  I asked about 20-25 different people.  So if I missed some of those name that were recommended here, I'll give it consideration on the next go-around.

As far as I am concerned, I had the best 10 pilots that were there for each other, when they said they would.  If you want to put a "dream-team," versus the 10 guys that were out there on Sunday, I'll take the same guys again.  They made it, I am loyal to them, and I think it be a better showing in results too if we had to go at it again.

To the guys who made it on both sides, I salute you.

Results are in.  DrBone has tested positive for trace amounts of a synthetic Irish rum found in his blood.  These findings counter the "1/4 Irish" explanation, and invalidate it as a fabrication.  DrBone's PR campaign is tight lipped on the subject matter but our sources close to DrBone, who wish to remain anonymous, are eluding to a full denial and lawsuit being filed on DrBone's behalf.  These accusations and resultant turmoil are causing a cyclone of negativity to surround the international Olympic Dueling Event and cast shadow on the event's integrity for future scheduled events.  Olympic Dueling President Bruv119, has no comment.

I sent the info to everyone or so I had thought.  Didn't think you were in the lineup til klingan dropped out at short notice.  We are pretty open about our vent tho most guys are welcome in the squad or not....

Nice video Dhyran, exemplary calls!
