I understand. I am kinda in the same situation myself, so it would probably be difficult to find a suitable time for me too. And it would also be an timezone issue, as I am from Norway.
But I will up the P39Q and try to get a feel with it, I tried it a couple of times before but I didn't quite understand how to fly it and gave up before I figured it out. I fly mostly F4U's now, and feel I am an adequate pilot in those. Atleast I know exactly what happens if I push the hog to the limit, or beyond. That would be alot more than I can say about flying a P39, or most other aircrafts in AH..
Have been a dedicated hogpilot for about a couple of years now, so I guess its about time to start learning something different. But I am far from any hog expert, just so that's said. I just like the challenge of learning something a little more difficult than a spit or a zeke. And I really think the P39 falls into the category of more challenging rides?!
Probably why you seldom see anyone fly them at all..
Guess I'll do some hours in TA with the 39 in the future, see if I manage to break it.
