Please the only thing that TCU has going for it is where it is located and they can scoop some players that slip by the big boys in the state of Texas. Other than that they aren't a powerhouse...haven't been in decades...Utah and BYU are the same way. Once in a great while they get a few gems on the recruiting trail but add in a few decent 1AA type players to help prop them up. The only thing helping Boise is there location in that it isn't easy to get to from anywhere and their schtick with the blue turf and having beaten a couple of good teams with a month to prepare for them. Once they get in a conference where they actually have to prepare for teams each week then we will see how good their coaches and players are. Odds are they get beat down a few times and they along with the MWC returns to irrelevant conference status.

Nebraska was a powerhouse now they are not.  that goes for the same for Michigan, Miami, Florida to name a few. TCU along with BSU are gain ground to be recognized.

I must have been hiding under a rock..    or was it a rock lobster?

First I heard of this was Monday..

A conference with a Nebraska and no Oklahoma?

THAT's what caused the end of the the Inca ( or Mayan? ) calendar to be in 2012.

Just ain't natural!

Oh great, another team to whip on IU's football team.

Don't be so sure.  Nebraska has a very good chance to be in the national championship hunt this upcoming season.

It will be a long time now that they are in the BIG-10.  There are four times that can beat them.

They are still in the big 12 this upcoming season, which is a better conference than the current Big 10 anyways.  They have a very good team, and a manageable schedule.  Their toughest challenges will be Washington on the road, and Texas at home, both games, very winnable.

Wrong on the Nebraska side there oakranger; Bo Pellini is doing things the right way and has a heck of an AD behind him, Miami is on the rise again, Florida is reloading after 2 National Championships in 3 years. Boise will coast through another WAC schedule with ease and get enough flattery with their odditys to make it to a big time bowl...probably not a BCS again though. While TCU probably does what they always do...good for one season maybe two and then phone it in for the next 4-6 seasons.

Two thing; 1) i ment Florida state.  2) non of the teams are a power house like Texas, USC, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida, Alabama.  when was the last time Michigan, Miami, Florida state start or finish in the top 10.  Bosie state has a lot to be a power house but a lot of power house teams are afraid to play them with exception of Oregon.

Miami could win the ACC this year, Boise State plays Virginia Tech at Virginia Tech this year(it might be in Landover Maryland) which will tell us if Boise is ready to face the big boys.

Miami could finish in the top 5 if they step it up.  They have a good coach that been building a team up so yea, Fudgums, they are favors for the ACC.

Oregon a powerhouse....HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

That is one of the funniest things I have ever seen you write you Pac10 whiner!

BTW FSU is 6-5 in bowl games since 2000 with a National Championship in 2000. Much better than the Big Red.

I believe you are incorrect kind sir...as much as it galls me to say this I believe Notre Dame has the Big Red by about 10 games with an all time record of 837–290–42 (.734)...I must go and bathe in epsom salt and dog poo with cat pee to cleanse myself from talking and giving ND any kind of credit for anything sports wise...From what I can gather from my College Football Encyclopedia Nebraska's all time record is 827–341–40 (.701). Granted
