down time timers
« on: June 12, 2010, 05:56:44 PM »
we really dont have anything to base when a hangar is gonna pop on other than "its smoking/it stopped smoking"

what i am suggesting is when you right-click on a base and select "(base number) status", when that window pops up that says which hangars are up/down, there would be a timer on the "disabled" items displaying how much time is left before it pops.

for example: "vehicles: disabled- 10:37"

also, would it be possible to display the status of the town in that window?

I like the idea but with a slight modification, you would have to be within the DAR ring of that base to get the information. I think that would tend to make it a bit more like gathering intel.

i use it all the time, works great.  I would say to list the time remaining for the country that the hanger or town is down for.  So if your a bish and its your hanger down you can view the time remaining but the enemy should have to keep track on their own...

Is there a way to calibrate it?  Mine is a bit fast...it thinks 1 second is about 1/2 to 3/4's of one. It doesn't seem like much but it screwed up my bomb drop from 30K on a VH after I hit it 15 minutes before. If the clock was right, it would have dropped the VH again a mere 3 seconds after it popped.
