Couple questions
« on: June 14, 2010, 02:51:02 AM »
Can the Logitech G13 keypad be used in AH?
Does AH take advantage of quad core processors or is dual core all that is required?
Does AH support ATI Crossfire?

Thanks

1. No direct knowledge, no answer...
2. You'll get no additional performance from 4 vs 2 processors at this time according to Skuzzy - and he'd know!
3. Yes (and "no").  AH doesn't "directly" support any video, the Windows DirectX subsystem does.  And yes, because that supports Crossfire (in an appropriately configured system), as a result, AH does.  Is that clear as mud?

1) If it works with your version of windows...

2) For the same money as a quad processor and for AH alone (with no other reason for a quad core) you can get a faster dual core. If for any other reason a quad core would help you (not many programs are quad core capable but some are - i.e. FSX or AutoCAD or 3D Studio or high end audio apps etc.)

3) If it works with your version of windows...
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Like FLS mentioned, there is no issues with using the G13 or any of the other Logitech programmable keyboard devices with AH.  I use a G15 and I've got the macro keys programmed with some of the minor stuff in AH like changing the view distance and other things that don't need to be on my HOTAS setup.

The only thing in regards to the programmable Logitech keyboard devices are the ones that have LCD displays, those don't work with AH.

ATI Crossfire does work with AH.

I was pretty sure there was no quad core support. Very few games do. My dual core is clocked to 3.6

Crossfire is good, if anyone is running it was the second card worth it?
It wasnt in Fighter Ace, thats why I ask.

The Logitech G13 does have an LCD display. I guess I will try it.

The reason for wanting the G13 is more buttons.
I fly with a Precison Pro 1 USB.
In FA the shift button worked to double the available buttons.
It doent work in AH, instead you have to use modes.
Since I have over 20 of them (didn't want to run out, love the stick), not going HOTAS anytime soon, lol.

Depends what card you have. For instance, I have the HD5770 and it ran/runs great on 1 card. I only bought my second 5770 for games like BC2 and other intensive games.

So the question is, which ATI card have you got?
