AvA Operation DragoonIf you're bored with the same old thing in the main arenas and want a bit of a challenge, check out the AvA arena forum and read the details on the setup for the current week. The setups change weekly and are close to historical equipment match ups as possible, ETO, PTO, MTO, Eastern Front. No, you won't be able to fly your favorite plane all the time but you won't run into massive hoardes trying roll bases all over the map either. You won't find a large number of Spixteens in your face while you're flying your P-40. If you enjoy flying bombers to help take a base down and capture it for your side, check out the setup to see if bombers are included. If you enjoy a good tank battle without fear of having a dozen fighters being able to pinpoint drop 1000lbs bombs on you, check out the setup to see if tanks are included.
6 p.m. Eastern time Monday thru Thursday and various times on weekends, is generally a good time to find people in the arena. Bring a wing man or team up with someone in the arena because flying alone will get you shot down quickly (unless you're really good).
*warning* if you have difficulty seeing small objects with little to no extra visual cues (i.e. large red icons), the AvA may not be suitable for you.
