 :lol

you got to be careful what you say,  sometimes I check the forum on my g/f's netbook while in the lounge.  I have accidentally left it logged in and she has posted under my name and called me all sorts of things in our private forum after some adult conversations! .  Thankfully I can moderate that forum and I haven't made that schoolboy error again.

Still she knows where to hunt me down.  :uhoh

I got 10 cubic yards of that; 2000 bricks;8 10 foot long railroad ties; 4 cubic yards of crushed stone and 4 cubic yards of sand for last Christmas, last years birthday, last years anniversary, this years valentines day and easter. My wife got 2 pallets of Z52 Zoysia and a crap load of full sun and drought resistant plants to put in the back yard for her birthday, anniversary, and Christmas.

For me having been divorced for many years and having 2 adult kids , if I get a phone call from each of them I'd be stoked ! It may not seem like much for a lot of guys but it sure would make my day .

Don't be afraid to put it out there , if it gets cut off it'll grow back

Similar here nutte, a phone call from my son who I haven't seen for 14 years would be heaven.

Damn Nutte and xbrit...I am glad that mine are still around and things like that bring it back into perspective for many of us.

Rino...its the things we get to do AFTER we have done all that work that make us the HOPELESS ROMANTICS!

Nothing.  I'm not a father and lets just say the marriage boat has been torpedoed and hulled.

I hate that for your day on the water man. I get to go back to painting and hanging molding in the new house. Mind you this is a different one than the one that we put all the yard work into just to have a nicer back yard.

My daughter "got" (iactually paid for it but she is 10 so...) me an R/C F-14 Electric Ducted Fan.. not real big but it is pretty neat, 48" wingspan with the wings out, and has functional in-flight swing wings, and retractable landing gear.. should be good for about 125mph.. Plus the uniqueness of the swing wing.  yes, I picked it out lol.. she told me to "Pick and airplane and get it" (probably my wifes idea) So I did!

Spent most of the day today out at the R/C Field with my dad, and then spending this late afternoon/eve with my daughter and wife.. all in all a good pappy's day...
