I've seen several shows now (morning shows, ESPN, etc) and apparently lots of people have the same complaint about the durn horn as I do.

I don't even like to watch highlights of the games now because of it.

I will say that last highlight show it 'seemed' that they were toned down a bit so maybe someone is doing something.

They are slowly fading, I am actually able to hear some of the chants now. I loved seeing the crowd do the wave in Italy vs Paraguay. When is the last time that happened in the NFL?

LOL! It's amazing how quickly people cash in on things...would love to see their profit margin next week....although when I heard complaints about the sound I wondered why the audio guys don't just do that in post-production....it's just a matter of cloning the sound and putting it in phase.

Crowds doing a wave usually means dull, boring game.

Which would be about right for a game involving Italy.

Heard on News last night. The networks will use more filters to reduce the noise (sounds like hornets on steroids).

The horn noise is annoying..

I've never been into soccer but I thought I'd give it a shot this year to see what it's all about..

I tried listening to the USA vs UK game just couldn't get into it( the horn noise wasn't helping )..

I didn't realize they allow games to end in tie's?
:headscratch:

I think this simpson clip sums it up for me ...

The Simpson's-broadcasting soccer

I wish the people blowing those horns would sit on them instead....violently.
