Speedstream Router - I cant host H2H or RW channels
« on: December 11, 2000, 10:19:00 AM »
Since I got my SpeedStream 5711 DSL Router I cant Host H2H games or RW channels, and in some kind of way I think these two problems are related.

I have one IP adress out towards to the internet and another IP inside towards my LAN. From the LAN the Router have one IP and it gives the klient an IP automatically. Its the LAN IP my Roger Wilco tries to host on and I guess thats what is the problem also with the AcesHigh H2H feature.

Even though I am a paying AH customer I really miss the H2H feature, and the lack of abillity to host RW is a huge problem. So I would really appreciate suggestions on how to work around the problems.

It depends on how configurable the thing is.  It sounds like it's doing NAT.  Can you configure it to point all UDP ports or certain UDP ports to a specific internal IP?  If not, you may not be able to do those things.
