How about making it so that each country has only one or two bases. These bases are all very close to each other and are uncapturable. Then, extend the radar out so that every one shows a blip and a dar bar. This will COMPLETELY ELIMINATE NOE missions and remove all of this base-taking nonsense from the game! I mean, seriously... this game is all about aerial combat, not winning the war, right?
For people that like to GV, just make a separate arena with a nice tank town for everyone to play in. Or better yet, just give them their own game... "Aces Low" or something like that.. I dunno... however you guys think would work best.
The incredible success of the WWI arenas is a perfect example of how great this could work! HT would also save a lot of server maintenance costs by eliminating the DA arena altogether!
And this would be historically accurate, as in WWII in real life, there were no 'surprise' attacks, and everyone just wanted to fight... no one actually cared about winning the war...
