New Damage Bug Recorded
« on: June 21, 2010, 10:38:30 PM »
Recorded another tater dud,   I mean damage bug today in the Bf109k4 against a Spit16.  Film trimmed down to 20 seconds for Sudz and HiTech's viewing pleasure.  No parts, no damage, nothing but a tater lush to the center of aircraft.  Cheers.

Papajohn and I have noted this as well. It's much less frequent, though.

I decided not to bring it to the boards as I did not want to incite Hitech to take that unnecessary antagonistic tone he used last time in his responses.  :)

What planes?  Sudz said it was an individual A/c damage problem.  Spit16 is still affected apparently.

I myself have seen it on a Spitfire, P47, and a Zero.

Grizz,

I cannot be deemed a Luftweenie so here is an observation from last night.

I flew the G14 with the 20mm nose package. At point blank range hitting planes with up to 30 20mm rounds, all but one of them flew away with fuel and oil leaks. The same planes when I flew a spit16 or spit5 from the same distance and angles with just a tap on the trigger (5-6 20mm) lost a wing or blew up. Is it possible the fixing of the damage model is reveiling something in the cannon model of the german aircraft? I even flew a N1Ki and it only took a trigger tap to kill the same planes.

I hit a hurricane 3 times in the tail from ded six, saw the flashes he got away with no damage.  I was in a 190 firing only 20mm.
