Germany played twice as good as us. Well done, look like a teamthat could win

They were better the first half, but the second (thanks the referees), was "downhill" for them..just waiting for a counter attacks. 4-1 doesn't mean that much. Just remember the second goal in the semifinal Germany-Italy in 2006. As i said, it's just sad that such an "important" match will be remembered for that mistake.

David Calamity James...........

Geez, he makes Tim Howard of USA look good.  He should of stopped that 3rd goal.

You cant blame James for that, he had the whole goal to shoot at, or are you being ironic!!! He was about our best player!

Very poor defending for all goals, Lampards goal perhaps could have made a difference as we wouldn't have been chasing the game. Giving the ball away, not tracking back or going with players on a one-two is basic stuff.

Well done Germany, but I fear your going to get a spanking too as your keeper was very suspect and your centre backs are slow too. Messi will cream them.

It will save further embarassment for us

I'm a little terrified by the prospect of facing Germany so early not least because of the youthfull aspect of their team....

When looking at Germany I'm reminded of that classic Hansen quote regarding the double winning Man Ure team; "You'll never win anything with kids".

Can't believe I dragged my bellybutton out of bed at 6:30am for that CRAP! England's entire team - players, coaches, staff - should be as embarrassed and ashamed of themselves as I am of them.

England > Italian coach > nuff said.

What goes around comes around. The Geoff Hurst goal, that was not a goal, in the 1966 final against West Germany that put England ahead 3:2.

The technology wasn't available then. There's no excuse for Blatta and Fifa not utilising it. Mind, I'm not sure it would have made a massive difference today!

I used the BBC predictor, it keeps telling me we have to play against them in the quarter finals. It looks promising to say at least!  :neener:

I propose all future England football games be shown on the GAY ADULT CHANNEL

the sight of 11 A-holes getting repeatedly hammered for 90 Mins Should not be shown on terrestrial TV

but hey, on the bright side at least it didn't go to penalties. more time for a BBQ

$9 million per year for THAT?  Bad investment in Capello.
