Perks for assists

I could care less about perks or points....but getting partial kill credit would be nice  0.25 or 0.5 etc.  Im pretty sure assists were tallied like that in ww2...correct me if i'm wrong

But the allies gave partial kill credit no???  I am pretty sure it was in "Old Crow" by Bud Anderson that I read an account where his flight took turns shooting down some low level german bombers and were awarded partial credits...

Some airforces whose pilots struggled for kills, yes. You could have been an ace in the RAF without ever really shooting someone down

You guys are simply asking for "more perks" then?  We could also increase perks per kill then... but like someone mentioned earlier: You would have to increase perk price of planes too, thus resetting all your additional gains.

Perks are a gratification for success. An assist is not. Kill the enemy, and you will get the reward. Get better and increase your kill/assist ratio, and you will get more, instead of just asking for more.

No i'm just aying it would be nice to get a little reward for the guy i spent 5 mins fighting just to have some friendly dive in a take my kill.
And really would it hurt for us to get a few more perks? I can't see getting a few extra perks unbalancing the arena's at all.
