*EDIT* I can not currently log into AHevents.org without a long wait or it failing as of this morning.

Brooke, I was able to register for special events with the link you provided however when I go back to log in and use the username and password it says registration not complete and asks me to log in again. I then get the same "not complete" message.

After clicking the spot you wanted, did you goto the bottom of the page and finalize it?

I wasn't able to get passed where it asked for my username and password. I had opened the link in the email that was sent to me to confirm my email address and request for the member/log in. But that's it when I went to log in again it said registration not complete.

I went to try and register again. This time the registration question window asked additional information like squad name and other things. I have copied and pasted it below. It asked me for my email address and I typed that in to the required field. It told me it could not check my email address?? I don't get it :furious

Some email addresses are not treated like say an aol.com or better known address. The system sends you a confirmation immediately or it fails. Not sure if hotmail, yahoo accts are valid either. I have an AOL acct, a cutthroats.com email and many more. I use my cutthroats.com and it's fine. (It's a real domain name) The aol.com works as well. Hope that's a bit of help. I checked the registration and there is a circle with a ! and it just said email address but didn't specify restrictions.

EDIT: Just checked your profile here and you have email address marked "Hidden".  Enter the profile on this BB and make the email visible. That may be why. I had a similar issue many years ago here.

I "unchecked" the hidden email and still no luck. The activation link that I recieved says it's no longer valid or the account has been activated but still no ablility to log in or re register.

One time I tried to register after making sure the email was not hidden and it said the email address already existed so I tried to have them resend the user name and password but I never got it. So I tried again to register the same way and it said that It couldn't check my email again.

What do I have to do???

Noah, you are a trooper for trying. I suspect since the link expired I am going to have to refer you to Fencer or Brooke on that note. Normally when those kinds of links are sent they either have a limited life or once clicked they are no longer valid.
Maybe clearing out your temporary Internet files might help....am guessing here...try another browser like Firefox...and give it another go with your email set unhidden. You can re-hide it once the registration is completed.

Hang in there and it shall be resolved.  You can fly for me any day...I like your spirit!!

send me a PM with the email address and username you are trying to activate on the ahevents.org site and I will look into it.

PS: your BBS settings have no influence on the ahevents.org site registration, so you can hide your BBS email information again if you'd like.
