The Unforgiven did an
awesome job against far overwhelming odds to get three sets of bombers to a target far in the enemy rear during last Friday Night's FSO frame. Against 2:1 and 3:1 odds against them and facing three different sets of attackers, they persevered and all three 77th got to A7. Over the Channel, a squad of possibly more than 30 Spitfires jumped us all and they still got us to target.
In all my FSO's, I have never seen just 11 guys pull that off---EVER!
My hat is off!
