The Red Dar Bar
« on: July 04, 2010, 05:56:12 PM »
Now i dont know about the rest of you but i wear glasses for the computer and other form's of concentration activities. Thus i find it hard to see the red dot's of approaching enemy when they fly around the N/W corner of the grid's on the map when they virtually fly through the dar bar on the map.

Now how about if they do that on the map the dar bar go's from a red or green full coloured bar to a bar with just a red or green outline. I mean it would make it easier to see incoming bandits on these area's of the map.

I don't know how the rest of you feel about this so please do post either alternative idea's or Just say no thanks i like it the way it is :lol

Many Thanks

BulletVI

All post's are welcome as are idea's.  :salute :salute

You can change the color of the DOTS too.

I think it's clipboard--> options--> preferences --> GUI and play with the ICON drop down menu.

Yes i have tryed all of the above but my acctual problem is focussing on colours on a coloured backdrop. I.E i only found this out a few weeks ago when i went for my regular eye check-up. I just cant clearly see any colour on a red or green background not even bold black arrhh i is getting old  :cry  :cry :(  :( . Maybe HTC can up-grade the dar bar opions with the last post for me and any other person with the same problem as me ?????

I suffer a similar problem, and reading glasses only mildly help. If the fight gets down in the weeds, I have trouble even seeing blue navy planes, and if the sun is low on the horizon (which it ALways seems to be), I have to find another arena, or log off

I'm color blind on the red/green spectrum also...I set the colors of friendly a dark blue, and the color of the enemy a bright yellow.  Works for me.

HHHMMMM i shall try that as-well but i would like HTC to look into ways of helping us that are colour blind or hard of seeing colours upon different colours. there may be a simple solution that the can upgrade the map options with to help Us and other's.
