/shrug.  My point is still valid.  As long as the N1K is flown at the right altitudes its the best aircraft in the scenario at those altitudes and it isn't close.  Now if the pilots or tactics aren't equal, then of course that can change the outcome, but who is to say which side will have the upper hand in that case?

You are entirely missing my point. By a mile at least. You basically even ignored what I wrote. And no, I didn't even try to say which side will have the upper hand.

american pilots only gun n run. they do not like to tangle up close and personal.
because they know the japanese planes are superior in REAL dogfights.

with the exception of those fork-tailed helicopters.  :t :t :t

Nope.  It's Zeros (A6M5b), N1K1's, Ki-84's, Ki-61's, and Ki-67's against FM-2's, P-47's, P-38's, Corsairs, B-25's, and B-24's, in various proportions.

I think that the mix of aircraft will provide fun and challenge for both sides.

The OP specifically asked for Zeke pilots. I wasn't commenting on the overall balance of the scenario (which seems pretty reasonable), I was specifically pointing out that flying Zeke's against that Allied plane-set will be tough. They have a hard enough time against P40's and P39's in FSO.

It will depend on the fights in this one.  If it's just a squadron of Zeros vs. some other squadron of Corsairs, etc., yes, that could be tough on the Zero pilots (depending on how they are flown, of course).  If it's just a squadron of Zeros vs. a like number of FM-2's, it will be a good fight, with the edge to the A6M5b's, in my opinion.  If it's some Zeros, N1K1's, and Ki-84's vs. American planes, then it will be a good fight and plenty challenging for the American planes.

Feh!

Click activation link after signing up for yet another account... Why this isn't all tied into to a central db I don't know. 3 different accounts for one game? Seriously?

Anyway, activation link is a bust, try and log in it says I haven't activated, use activation link and it says it's invalid. Done trying now. Thanks for the finger work-out.

you can walk on but no guarantee what you will get. If you want a Zeke, register. If you do register be prepared to be F4u'd.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

4/10 slots filled. 252 Kokutai: Pez, JRjolly, sevnty, Molsman
6 more zeke specialists needed. our primary objective will be to provide fighter cover.
our squadron will likely see multiple enemy incursions, likely to be B-24's & B-38's, F4U's & FM-2's.
an abundance of easy targets! come join the slaughter now!

The ahevents.org site is a site maintained by the volunteers who put on special events.  They aren't HTC employees, and ahevents.org isn't an HTC site.  So, there is no integration of all the DB's.

I'll ask the admins to look into it to see if there is some problem with the new site somewhere.

Niki's Lol Almost every single american vs japanese fso I have participated in the top japanese plane was the ki's followed by niki then bottomed out with the poor zero...... Don't let that last sentence fool you though the american birds normally mince up the japanese especially in mariana's turkey shoot. I was top japanese ace with 4 KILLS! americans top ace had like 15 or something in and f6f a 15 eny plane that is widely ignored in the ma's
