So you could look up "Did my time, took my chances, went the distance.....," or something more along the lines of "Mama told me, when I was young." 
Try those fancy pants. Or how about finding an instrumental? 
First one gets one hit. Yo, Rocky.
Second one has four or five possibilities, but since you've heard the song you're looking for, it wouldn't be difficult to differentiate.
Instrumental? There's a good chance someone else has asked before. In that case, you would search for where you heard it. IE: Song in AAA Video.
Apparently there is also a Smart Phone App now that will do everthing for you. I haven't tried that one yet.
