All,

OK, so I haven't been flying for about 7 months, and I installed the new "patch" version a few days ago (so now the AH folder is outside of the Programs Files folder) . I have a few questions, but I'll make separate threads for each.

First question: None of my saved head positions have carried over from my old version to my new one. To save me having to go through all the planes and make new head positions, are there a set of files I can copy over from my old AH folder to my new AH folder that will transfer all my saved head positions? How about a similar trick to transfer my convergence and
gunsight settings?

Thanks,
Llama

Hi Llama! Long time....

Most (I hesitate to say "all", but I do believe all is actually correct) of what you are asking about is in the "settings" folder under the Aces High directory.  Copy the files in the old settings location to settings in the new install location, and you'll be between 98 and 100% there.

Copy sights to sights to move those as well.
If you used custom sounds, copy sounds, etc.

Thanks guys. Good to be back.

I copied most (though not all) of the files back from one installation to the other, and got nearly all of my settings back.

Cheers!
