Guess which one won?
www.tomshardware.com  also has a new heatsink article.  (I haven't been able to find that Noise Control Silverado anywhere though...)

Athlon wins again sounds like. Only exception being quake based 3d games.

Thats compareing a P4 1.5 Ghz to a athlon 1.2!

What will happen when they can compare 1.5 to 1.5!

I love my Athlon and I love that AMD is faster than Intel right now

Dont get me wrong, I'm not biased, if intel was faster I'd own intel

Its just that the days were intel ruled and cpu's were slow and expensive are gone

God bless competition

Animal you've just reminded me of the days when nVidia and 3dfx fought it out...

Exactly Animal.

I don't want either company to go away.

I have an AMD now, if Intel can beat the price/performance ration and still offer a good performing chip, I'll buy Intel.  If things are esentially equal, I buy from the underdog.

Unfortunatly my new puter is still a pile of parts while I wait for a case to arrive!

Yes Pakrat, AMD certainly is the smart way to go for the time being. About time Intell had some competition!
