Saitek X45 & CH Pedals analog
« on: November 25, 2001, 01:32:00 PM »
I am using a Saitek X45 joystick and CH analog pedals, Windows 98 SE, Direct X 8.1.

I downloaded the drivers from stickworks.com and have successfully calibrated my analog rudders in windows.  In the Aces High joystick selection it shows both the Saitek X45 and Rudders Only devices.  The X45 works fine but when I click on the Rudder Only (device #2) it shows only the following for input choices:

none
x axis
y axis
0 button
1 button

How can I fix the Rudder Only to show a rudder axis in Aces High or a work around?

Hopefully someone is using the same combo and has gotten it to work.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated, Thank you,

Big Mac

We are talking the "analog" pedals right ?

Ok looks to me that you have the brakes working not the rudders , or side to side , on the pedals . THe analog CH Pro's have two gameport plugs , one's for the brakes , the other for the rudder .

Try the other gameport plug on the pedal .

{edit} Sorry if you have just the reg. ch pedals , there's a switch on them to use those in "car" mode , try moving it to the other postion . Either way looks like you got them in car mode Pro's or Reg. pedals {/edit}

Spro,

Thank you for replying.  I got my X45 and my old CH regular analog pedals to work.  I thought I had tried both the x and y axis, turns out only tried the y, it was the x axis. Again, thank you for your input.
