Temperature monitoring on AMD athlons

What is warm but ok? what is too hot?
Currently running a coolermaster heatsink/fan
and getting 98 to 111 on cpu, sys temp is running mid 80's to 90.
I'm useing Motherboard Monitor 5 to monitor cpu & sys temp, as well as fan rpm's.

That's pretty good actually. Nothing to worry about there. My 700@927 runs at a nice warm 49 deg C (120.2 F) after 3 hours of AH. What is the temperature right after leaving AH after playing for a long time?
The maximum safe temp is listed as 90c, but I would be VERY worried if it ever got to 60c.
Your case is a touch warm, but not to the point where I would worry about it.

Highest I've seen it is 117. After 2 solid hours of AH it was hanging steady around the
109/111 mark.
I've actually seen the cpu temp below the sys temp when it's just ticking over. Not sure why the sys temp is so high. I'm running 2 3" fans, one blowing in right over the cpu in the back, one blowing out in the front.
One question, both of my case fans are powered via HD power supply's. My motherboard has 2 spare headers for fans. Would it be better to leave them where they are? Or run them off the motherboard headers?

It doesn't really matter, but I'd say leave them on the IDE connectors.

It must be implemented on your computer. Most newer computer have temperature monitoring abilities. You should be able to find them in the bios if they are present. If they are, do a search for "motherboard monitor". I believe version 5 is the newest, and it is free.

When I had celeron 500, it run close to 50 C, without problems.
Currently 566@850 is running under 44-46 C, depending on temperature in my room and what im working on with the computer.
(at normal 566mhz, temperature is 4-5 C less)
