I'd recommend the GTX 460 over the GTX 465.
The 460 runs cooler, uses less power, and is competitive speed wise with the 465 in a lot of games. Plus, it's cheaper.

The GTX 460 tends to run around $199 (768MB) to $250 (1GB memory).
I'd say a 5770, GTX460, or even a 5830 are all around a similar price, and all good choices.

To further expand, it might come down to what Chipset/MB you have.   Not to mention, what PSU.

And it's fun to watch them bounce around.

Isn't the GTX 460 the new best deal in graphics cards?  Apparently cooler and lower power than previous 4xx series, and good value for the performance (almost matches the 5850 while costing $100 less).

I went from 2 x 8800GT "after a NVIDIA update both cards fried" Now I have  MSI HD R5770 Hawk  Love it . SOLID .. with the twin fans on the card she stays real cool. I have ALL setting in AH all maxed out including shadows  ( at the 4000  setting . Exact # escape me right now ) and running the new 2048 Hi Res and frame rate is at 60  and  varies only by a few # in furballs ... Try NewEgg .. At there web site you can compare. 1 more thing son plays COD / World of Warcraft.... and with the afterburner program from MSI you can overclock it very easy... so I'm told. :D. The card is not very large and will fit in a Mid case and also works with PCI Express16 1.0  and doesn't need a massive power supply to run it.. I'm using a 600w ..

Also you can go to Overclockersclub.com and read there reviews on several cards that might help also.............
