C.202 fuel tanks
« on: July 21, 2010, 04:58:15 PM »
I've been flying a bit in the C.202 and have noticed that if you take 100% fuel and use automatic change of fuel tanks, it will burn them in the order of AUX->LW+RW->MAIN.
However, if you select 75% fuel in hangar, you will given a full MAIN and partly filled AUX tank (about 75%).

I just figured that either the fuel burn order should be changed, or it should be the wing tanks that were partly filled when taking the 75% option.

To tell the truth, it's not that I can feel any changes to handling whether I manual let the wing tanks burn first or not, so not high priority. Maybe when you upgrade the model :)

I don't know about the 202 because I almost never fly it.  When I fly the 205 though, I feel like it handles a bit better if I drain the wing tanks first.

Also, great fights with you the other day man, had a lot of fun!

There are several things that can be done to improve the performance both in real life and in game. All a matter of the effects on the center of gravity of the plane is. Removing weigh from one area (fuel or Ord) either throws it off or moves it back toward the best point.

When I fly the 110, I will get rid of the gunner ammo to help improve turning and handling.  :salute
