Explosions

Was escorting a squaddie, I was at 31k when he dropped bombs on a field.  Heard the explosion clear as day as if I was sitting on the ground right beside it.  Doesn't seem logical.

Yeah, quite a few noticed that no matter where you are, explosions, i.e. bombs dropping, sound like right on top of ya. Was in M4 5K+ away from NME base and squaddie bombed it and it sounded like he dropped on me. Lot of times I had to go to pintle gun because thought I was being shot at but it was GVs taking fire 2+K away. Seems an issu with the distance...  :salute

definitely a few tweaks required for the sound/distance thing. external engines/distance doesnt seem to work right either. stays quite loud then suddenly drops off like this:

from the cv the 8 inch guns at 14k   silence on impact, at 13,5k  as loud as if i were in the city were they hit!
