In the final phase of a vehicle base capture two C47's were detailed to drop troops: 1 primary, 1 back up. Primary landed at the map room and deployed. Three or four troops were killed by a straffer. Secondary air-dropped his stick immediately and got credit for the capture...but as a vehicle capture, not a bomber capture.
My question is: Do the characteristics and attributes for the first troops into the map room also apply to any subsequent troops?
Yes. I was the secondary guy and I REALLY needed a bomber capture to make me feel more masculine.
This isn't important enough to spend a lot of time on...I'm just askin'
