Just a heads up...
Prior to the update, I was able to view the aircraft and gv skins via the F3/F8 mode while setting convergence rather easy. With the update, the angle in the aircraft while in the hanger has changed so the old process to view the skins will not work as well. HOWEVER, I did stumble across a new process that allows a very good view of the skins. It is real simple:
Get into the "Set Convergence" mode, the hit F5, then F3, then F8. BAM! There ya are. Don't ask me why that sequence works but it does.
