This stuff is amazing and to think that Corning came up with the stuff over 40 years ago but never found a use for it until now...sounds like alien technology research if you ask me.

Nice find...

Notice the end of the article?

Quote
In his office lobby, Steiner showed off a 400-foot-long spool of flexible, 16-inch-wide glass that's as thin as a sheet of paper.
"Kind of like Chemcor was back in the '60s," he said. "We're not sure what we're going to do with it, but it's cool isn't it?"

That may end up on the market in some manner very soon as well.

That last one kinda reminds me of the stuff they showed in that movie with Val Kilmer where they went to Mars and had the FUBAR happen and they pulled out semi-transparent rolls of stuff that magnified and showed the topo map of the route they needed to take.

Something like that would be kick butt to have.

I think it's a hoax.  I mean, you can see right through it.

This stuff can be used on aircraft and other object,to send a image from one side to the other "alot like the predator movies" altho first generations wont be that high tech "will be more basic, probably just splitting the verticals.

Should be interesting.
