Ok this may be a bit late, but I thought I'd throw it in here....
I use the Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D stick and the TM Elite rudder pedals... The only problem I'm running into is that I have to reboot the machine for the pedals to be recognized every so often but I think that is a WindowsME issue.
All of my controllers are hooked into my soundcard (Soundblaster Xgamer Live!) and work fine.. spiking was fixed with the deadband and dampening controls... So it can be done just needs a little work
