AH is better than it has ever been. Cronkite was a liberal and deserving of no respect.

OK BE, in what ways do you see AcesHigh has gone downhill? I think the game has contunied to improve since tour 74 or 75ish when I first logged in. Since that time we've seen a complete graphics rehaul, several requested planes and GVs added. And just resently a 2nd redesign of the base and town layouts. We even have a hint of Uboats now! :x

I'm sorry but I just don't see the game as going downhill. Sure the ENY and caps can be a real bummer, but that has been a factor since the end of AH1 when the arenas were first split. If anything the ENY is LESS of a problem now as you have the choice to move to another arena if you don't want to change countries.
The split arenas are also another plus IMO, because the guys that like flying the earlier birds don't have to put up with the uber planes now. A P40 has twice the chance of a successful sortie in EW or MW as opposed to the LW arenas.
All in all I have to say the positives outweight the negatives by a long shot.  :salute

And all this for the same price it was 4 or 5 yrs ago. This is the ONLY thing I can think of that hasn't doubled in price in that short time span.

I agree with Uptown. The AH community certainly has gotten larger over the years, and the community is seeing more younger players. I think that some people tend to get leery of newcomers, expecially the young folk, and take it too personally.

I'd also like to add that BaldEagles dueling tournaments added a lot of fun and enjoyment to many. That in itself is a prime example of how the players can do their part to make the game more fun for us all.

I have had AH on my computer for about 3 or four years, I have flown offline for those 3 or 4 years, asking my parents for let me use their credit card to get it, they would say no, so I would go back to shooting the drones for hours on end every night, and where there was updates, I couldnt wait for them to come out so I could take the brand new plane that was added into the game offline and go shoot down drones with it, and then not more then three months ago, and 3 years later, my parents finaly let me use their plastice to get AH,  figures that I will be 18 in two weeks and have my own credit card now haha, but the point of my story, is that  I have enjoyed almost every single update this game has had for the past 4 years, and I wasnt even online, I think HTC is doing an awesome job trying to meet everybodys wants and needs at the same time while keeping everybody (for the most part) happy, so keep up the good work guys  :aok

and also hurry up and finish developing my darn Raiden :)
