Date/Time stamp on films
« on: August 09, 2010, 03:26:18 AM »
Just to have..
Yeah I know to just rename the film file. But it can be of good use if we had an option that can officialy place time/date on screen.

People that make movies won't like it, I guess it could be an option.

I'd rather the films be auto-named with the date/time vs. just film "X".

I don't think it is necessary for this since the if you right click on the file and click properties it will tell you there when it was created. Everything after that is simple math to figure out what time everything happened.

Not so much for "MY" records. Im just saying it would be a cool feature to have ( and agian, this would be an option that you can check or uncheck in your viewer). Anyone can rename a file years ago and put yesterdays date on it. Officially putting the time/date on films could do things like report continuing offensive behavior, Put a definate date and time on a 1vs1 you had with someone. These are just things off the top of my head and although it might seem people would use it in a negative way..there are some useful purposes to it.

Just a thought
