Question about the new germany terrain

I was messing around in the new germany terrain.

I fly with detailed terrain on, but detailed water off.

This is what it looks like with detailed terrain on and water off.



Is this a glitch or just the way the map is made?

It looks like whoever built the terrain put tiles under the water. I have done this on the terrain I built and had trees sticking out of the water before.

Looks like the Mississippi river delta area...before BP polluted it.

That's my terrain and I have no idea what happened. Just checked off line and the whole ocean is like that. This terrain has a revision coming out shortly, well it was, until this was pointed out. The revision will have to wait until the solution to this problem is found.

Found the problem R,G,B = 0 is water. On this map, some how, all water was 3. Have yet to find out why but at least the solution was found and easily fixed.
