Since the middle of last tour most of the knight bases along the active fronts get their radar porked like clockwork during prime time. Just when I can finally see the red dots, along comes another FW and it's back to guessing. The usual culprits have adjusted their tactics to the radar. But, instead of a sure thing smash and grab of bases, any small mistakes or over sights by the attackers translate into a protracted Stalingrad. Seems there were some aspects of WW2 that supported Murphy's Law like this. But, Carl von Clausewitz said it better. No plan survives contact with the enemy.
Oh, I see, that giant slug fest after the base grab is blown and the defenders show up is whats being called a FURBALL now. We no likee delayed gratificationee? Isn't that more an indicator of how lame the smash and grabers or NOE hoarders are at any REAL strategy? We've been challenged by HiTech and as usual most rise to the occasion, adapt and overcome. Then we find out who the weenies are here in the forum who are change intollerant. I suppose they are the same people who spill McKey D coffee in their laps while trying to hold it between their knees and sue because they got burnt.
By the way. The POTW have discovered why HiTech gave us those MONGO rocket packs on the M4. If you up 6 M4 w packs and 6-8 heavy tank escorts. The M4 can mow the new town down rather quickly. And just like WW2 in the hedge row country, Jabo supports the tanks by killing the defence tanks, VH and upping fighters. It's not the 30 seconds NOE smash and grabs with no fight, and some lame vulches. But it is up to an hour of good fighting if we blow the timing.
Oh, Silly me, I see. The previous radar arrangement didn't promote conflict. Instead it was found to have an unintended consiquence to game flow which granted emidiate low risk self gratification BY leveraging conflict avoidence. People were running all over the map in large invisible gangs avoiding fighting, grabbing feilds and enjoying an evening of Not Getting Shot Down.<---Risk Avoidence.
Bad HiTEch, Baddddd HiTech. You actualy want your customers to fight in a air combat sim. Insanity I say. They are CRYING for RISK AVOIDENCE.......the customer is always rrrrighttt.....
